Welcome to the East Anglia Branch of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
is Europe's leading body for Health and Safety Professionals and for
others with an active interest in workplace health and safety.
IOSH East Anglia Branch is one of the largest branches of the
Institution with a membership of over 1000 members from Norfolk,
Suffolk and parts of Cambridgeshire. Our members
work in health and safety and other disciplines for a wide range
of organisations in the area.
This web site contains information on the Branch Programme, details of
where meetings will be held and contacts for the Branch Executive
Committee.

Chairman of East Anglia Branch |
Meetings in 2008-9 will be held in September, November, December, February, March and
May. Our meetings are held at different venues throughout the Branch
area and we have a speaker at each meeting. A wide range of topics
related to health and safety issues is covered. Our annual seminar
will be held in June and we organise workshops on a variety of
topics throughout the year.
Details of meetings for the current programme are listed on the
Events page. East Anglia branch covers a very large geographical
area and many members find it difficult to attend
Branch meetings. Those who cannot attend will find
that the meetings are reported in the Newsletters and,
for some, the speakers notes are available to
download (see the sidebar links to 'Newsletters' and 'Speakers Presentations').
A separate sidebar link 'Group Reports' gives you information from the various IOSH Groups which have special interests (e.g. Construction, Education, Food).
We welcome any comments on this web site or the running of the
Branch and are always pleased to have recommendations for
speakers or events. Please contact a member of the Branch
Committee or through the Contact Us page with any
comments or suggestions.
If you are interested in membership of the Institution, please either
contact a member of the Committee or visit
